St. Michael's Wig Exchange

This rapidly growing ministry serves patients and their families who face critical illness and
end-of-life issues. Our goal is to provide spiritual, emotional, and practical support. St. Michael's Project operates the Wig Exchange, which solicits, reconditions, and distributes wigs to women who lose their hair as a result of chemotherapy, free of charge. A series of seminars on end-of-life topics is scheduled to begin in in the Spring. A resource center for information about local support services is under development, as well as additional projects for family support. Members of the parish are actively involved by soliciting donations, washing and distributing wigs, raising funds, researching community needs, and leading seminars.
